Miss Piggy

babie eating with chubby cheeks

From the moment I could talk, I had my priorities straight. While other babies were saying “Mama” or “Dada,” my first word was a declaration of my favorite pastime: “Eat!”

Yes, you heard that right. Before I could even walk, I was already making my intentions clear—I was here for the snacks. My family found this endlessly amusing and took it as a sign of my budding foodie personality. Whether it was mashed bananas, ice cream , or the occasional cookie snuck to me by a doting grandparent, I was all in.

This love for food quickly earned me a nickname that I wore with pride: Miss Piggy. And no, it wasn’t an insult—it was an affectionate nod to my insatiable appetite and undeniable charm. Like the iconic Muppet herself, I was a diva in diapers, always ready for the next meal and a little bit of the spotlight.

Anytime we drove by a restaurant I would point my chubby finger at the window and say Eat! Eat!

Looking back, it’s funny to think how much my first word and childhood nickname set the stage for my personality. Even now, I still have a soft spot for good food and a playful sense of humor. And while I’ve outgrown the nickname “Miss Piggy,” I’ll always be that little foodie at heart, savoring every bite life has to offer.

Here’s to first words, funny nicknames, and the simple joys that make us who we are!
